Want to extend your drawing skills to include wildlife? New to drawing and would like to learn the skills to draw wildlife? Here is a unique opportunity to spend a day at the zoo with experienced wildlife illustrator, Sandra Morris. Includes zoo admittance. Workshop runs from 9.30am to 4.00pm on Saturday 17 November 2018. Bring your own art materials.
Course fee includes zoo admittance. You will need to bring your own materials (minimum paper, pencils, eraser and sharpener). A materials list will be emailed upon registration.
During this one day class you will spend some time inside learning drawing techniques with stuffed specimens to learn the processes of looking and drawing rapidly to get the essential form of a moving animal.
Some demos on materials will be included. Then you will move out into the zoo and where you will start with more sedentary resting animals, then as you gain more confidence, you will move onto the more active animals.
