Surya Namaskara is an ancient and powerful yogic practice that consists of a repetition of 12 postures that works on all levels of our being: physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. It is a complete and systematic practice in its own right that can work therapeutically to heal, energise and rejuvenate the practitioner.

Surya Namaskara is often incorporated into yoga classes at an introductory level. In this workshop we will go deeper to cover the full practices and to really understand its value.
If you are looking for a simple way to improve your fitness, health and wellbeing or would like to deepen your understanding of yoga, then Surya Namaskara can offer this.
This workshop is a mix of discussion and practice and is open to all adults and teenagers 16 or older. A basic physical fitness is required although experience of the practice is not necessary.
