    Description

    COURSE DATES 2021

    Courses run for eight weeks for a total of 120 hours tuition.

    Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9:15am - 12:15pm. You will take a short break in the middle of each class.

    Our first course will start on Monday 15 February.  Later dates will be added as necessary.


    ABOUT THE COURSE

    This Intensive English Pre-intermediate course is designed to accelerate your learning. With 15 hours of classes per week, students make rapid progress with reading, writing, speaking and listening.

    Please contact the office if you need to take a short test to find your English level.

    Maximum class size 12 students.


    COURSE FEES

    NZ citizens and permanent migrants: FREE COURSE TUITION plus $95 course books.  This course fee is subsidised by the Tertiary Education Commission and conditions apply (see below).

    Temporary migrants: $990 plus $95 course books. If you are awarded a resident visa while you are studying with us, please let us know. You may qualify for a fee rebate on your current course.

    Refugees may qualify for a free course but will need to buy course books. Please contact the office for more information.

    TERTIARY EDUCATION COMMISSION FEE SUBSIDY

    This applies to New Zealand citizens, permanent migrants and refugees

    The Tertiary Education Commission offers a fee subsidy for this course to qualifying students.

    NZ citizens, permanent migrants and refugees who are offered a place on this course will be offered the fee subsidy PROVIDING you can agree to the following conditions:

      • you promise to attend the full term
      • you promise to attend at least 80% of classes
      • you prove your right to reside permanently in New Zealand through presentation of your passport or refugee papers before starting your course.

    If you are unable to agree to all these conditions, please contact the office to discuss your situation.


    COURSE BOOKS

    The books used on this course are  English File Third Edition Pre-intermediate Student's Book and English File Third Edition Pre-intermediate Workbook. The price of these books is $95.00.


    IMMIGRATION STATUS

    Permanent migrant: student holds NZ Resident Visa or NZ Permanent Resident Visa or NZ Resident Visa

    Temporary migrant: student holds Guardian Visa, Work Visa, Student Visa, Visitor Visa or other visas

    Refugee: student has been personally granted refugee status in NZ
