This one day intensive course is for those with English as a second language. Improve your pronunciation skills in order to be more clearly understood in New Zealand. We welcome Intermediate to Advanced speakers of English to this workshop.
Maximum class size 12 students.
NZ citizens and permanent migrants: $20. This course fee is subsidised by the Tertiary Education Commission and conditions apply.
Temporary migrants: $75. If you are awarded a resident visa while you are studying with us, please let us know. You may qualify for a fee rebate on your current course.
Refugees may qualify for a free course. Please contact the office for more information.

About tutor Cathie Joyce:
Cathie is especially passionate about teaching pronunciation and student feedback has prompted her to teach this workshop. She has lived in several countries and relates to the struggles of a language student who strives toward fluency, and the desire to be clearly understood. Cathie holds a CELTA and Certificate of Language Teaching and a law degree. Her ESOL teaching experience ranges from Beginner to Advanced levels, Conversation, Pronunciation and Preparation for Work.
