Knowing and understanding your figure type and what suits you is having a look that is authentic and a wardrobe that mixes and matches with ease.
This workshop is designed to help give you the confidence to choose clothing that is appropriate to your figure, personality and life style. The secret is to flatter your figure by making the most of what you have and knowing which styles, fabrics, textures and accessories suit you, and which don't flatter so avoiding them.
You'll learn that it's shape, not size, that matters. Anyone of any shape and size can look fantastic. It's purely about knowledge: knowing what's right for you.
You'll learn how to put a capsule wardrobe together, how to wear your clothes, coordinating shoes, bags, accessories and jewellery.
This course contains a mix of presentation of theory elements of style, practical demonstrations on body line, proportion, texture and pattern and a brief assessment of each participant's shape and style with advice (as a group exercise so everyone learns). Trudy will show how to plan a capsule wardrobe, choose footwear and accessories, and how to wear clothes for your shape.
This course is limited to 10 participants.
You'll learn about the right line and proportion for your figure and which fabrics and patterns suit. You'll also learn about planning a wardrobe and choosing the right accessories.
Women from age 16 upwards.
Your lunch (we'll provide tea and coffee), pen and paper and one item of your own clothing in a style you're not sure about.
