This presentation will explore the 2020 US Presidential Election from a strategic perspective. It will explore aspects such as the candidates strategic positioning, their overall strategy, their targeting and communication, how this relates to the makeup of the voting electorate and its potential effect on down-ballot races.
Dr Edward Elder is an aspiring academic from the University of Auckland whose research focuses on political marketing, communication and new media in New Zealand and the United States. His work can be found in books such as Marketing Leadership in Government, Political Marketing in the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election, and Political Marketing in the United States.
