Description
Come and decorate a stone using waxed thread and beads. Learn a variety of looping stitches to create an absolutely unique piece that can be hung on the wall, used as a paperweight or given as a gift. You can bring your own stone (from the beach, river or garden) and embellishments or use those provided.
In the course you will learn how to start and finish the looping, you will learn a variety of looping stich types and how to add beads. You will then be able to create other looped embellished stones at home.
This is such an absorbing and low cost hobby. The combination of stone shape/colour, thread colour, stitch type and embellishments is an engaging hobby that can be enjoyed with no preparation and little cost.

What to bring
Your lunch as we'll take a break in the middle of the course. All course materials are provided. If you prefer, you can bring your own special stone to work with during the course.
