A creative, open-ended class focused on experimenting with different art-making processes - all the while having loads of fun! Class numbers limited to 12 students. Includes all materials fees. See below for more info.
This 8 week course takes children through a process of getting to know different art media, as well as getting to know themselves and what they are capable of.
Each term, we will change the syllabus so that children who re-enrol continue to be challenged and extended.
Only 12 students per class. Art materials are included in the enrolment fee.This course is designed for children between 6 - 11 years who would like to develop their creativity.
Term 3 2017 Painting Power!
Discover the magic of painting as you experiment with watercolour, gouache, acrylics, inks, glitter and salt. This fun filled class will develop students painting skills as they mix colours, create washes, mask and layer, all whilst exploring their imaginative worlds.

Term 4 2016 Sense Like a Spider
Learn to draw and paint by exploring your sense of touch. Close your eyes and use your imagination, to help you create a large vibrant painting using bright watercolour paints on paper. Discover the abilities we share with spiders as you explore abstract painting.
Term 3 2016 Lakes of Layers
Our paintings will swim in layers of colour and pattern. We will make large colour-filled paintings together as a group using watercolour, gouache and acrylic on fabric and paper, making different types of bodies of water, texture and colour, Then we will cut out our favourite parts to assemble into new individual paintings, discussing aspects of collage and colour theory as we go.
Term 2 2016 Drawing Up a Storm
Create whole new worlds in our term two drawing club with Charlotte. This fun-filled class will develop children’s drawing skills and allow them to develop their confidence as they draw up a storm!

Term 4 2015 Watercolour Stories
Create a book for your own watercolour story.
Combining writing and watercolour, students will be creating their own characters, placing them in a setting and building a story around them. Bring along any of your favourite books with awesome illustrations to share.
Term 3 2015 3D Worlds
Students will try out a range of moulding clays and techniques, and learn to plan, build and shape their worlds in 3D.
Term 2 2015 Portraits
Learn how to draw yourself and others while experimenting with drawing, collage and painted media. Some of the complete artworks are shown below.
Term 1 2015 Dreamscapes
Dream up your own imaginary world to paint in watercolours and turn this into a 3D sculpture using recycled materials. Examples of completed work below.
