In this seafood skills workshop you will learn to cook a variety of June's favourite, innovative fish recipes, to fillet and prepare fish. You will visit a local fish retailer to distinguish types of fish and how to purchase them. This will be a busy hands-on day as we will visit a fish shop and then back to Selwyn College to start cooking. Course fee includes $30.00 for ingredients.

You will be able to eat some of the fish you cook for lunch as well as being able to take some home for the evening meal.
June will share with you her recipes, secrets and techniques for creating a great selection of versatile fish dishes that you will find useful for a number of occasions.
You will work with a partner and cook a wide variety of recipes which have been gathered from around the world and the majority are simple and reasonable to make. There are over 12 recipes where you will be making a selection of these and where June will providing demonstrations on others. The workshop has been compared to being like a cooking marathon with prizes at the end.
