Alison completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training, as well as a Level One Restorative Teacher Training in 2018, at Yoga Nanda in New York. She will always be a student of the practice, and is currently enrolled in the Bodylight Level One Teacher Training course in Auckland, which combines the teaching of ancient yoga with Qi gong and Pilates. Her own practice started around 2012, shortly after becoming a licensed Massage Therapist in New York City.
Alison loves learning about the connection between the mind and the body, as well as exploring the natural healing capacity of both. Her focus is on guiding the breath to link mindfulness movement and proper body alignment. Her knowledge of massage combined with the practice of yoga creates a well balanced offering to all.
