Shelly is originally from Romania but has lived most of her life in Israel, moving to New Zealand about 8 years ago.
Shelly has a big love and passion for cooking and baking which she absorbed from the natural source - her mother. Living so far from her mother, and in order to keep the Jewish traditions, she kept updated with every recipe so she could pass it on to her children.
Today Shelly is developing recipes for different types of diets, not just in the Jewish and Eastern Europe cuisine. She is constantly searching and learning different ethnic cuisines and translating recipes from Romanian and Hebrew to English, as well from the Yiddish language names of dishes to English.
