Rather than writing a whole memoir, this interactive course teaches how to write well about single events.
Rather than writing a whole memoir, which is a daunting prospect for most people, this interactive course teaches how to write well about single events that happen on a journey throughout life. These might be life-changing, an episode that needs recording, or memories that give insight into who you are and your relationship with the places and people around you. Writing about events helps you to make sense of them and find meaning and reasons. Interpretations of things that happen in your own life give future generations insights into their own.
You are invited to attend our opening address at 9am on Saturday 28 August 2021. Carole Beu from the Women's Bookshop will fire up the day with an early morning talk on her raves and faves. Have a cuppa, listen to Carole and meet others.
