Established poet Vana Manasiadis will take you on a journey into the wonderful world of poetry. Whether you are just starting out or are simply curious, this hands on course will not only discuss the various styles and features of existing poems but students will be encouraged to write their own, for sharing and discussion.

This workshop will focus on fun, creativity, play, writing, and great discussion. Participants will firstly look at a number of poems, poetic language, style, and sound; and then, at some of the pathways into writing poetry. Using exercises as starting off points, participants will write their own poems, and have the opportunity to share, perform, and be inspired by each other's reflections, imaginations, and innovations.
