NOTE: This course offers a course fee subsidy through funding from the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) for NZ citizen and permanent migrant adults, their partners on work visas, refugees, NZ citizen and permanent resident young people aged 16+ who are not currently enrolled in a secondary school. We need to collect extra information such as age, ethnicity, educational achievement and gender for statistical purposes. You must also provide evidence of NZ citizenship, residency or refugee status if requested. A condition of accepting a course fee subsidy is that you commit to at least 80% attendance of your course.
This course is an entry level course to Google Ads (previously known as Adwords) designed to appeal to those new to this way of advertising online. The tutor covers overview material on the make-up of Pay-Per-Click advertising and the main components of the ads system. The group will create a sample campaign so that you learn how to structure Ad Groups, Keywords and Ads. The course covers Search Ads only and a basic overview of the main principles of Ads and some key areas to focus on when creating or managing an Ads campaign.
This course is designed for those new to Google Ads wanting to gain foundation skills and knowledge in this popular advertising tool. Participants should have strong computer skills with good understanding of google as a search engine.
