Become better acquainted with the history of street art on a walk in the central city that tells stories about the artists and hidden places. Discover laneways and imagery on walls and buildings that become part of a growing collection of older and recently commissioned works. Find out about the significance of the works and the wider colourful community they portray.
All ages with a creative interest in their city and a reasonable walking level.

Eleanor has taught 14thC Italian Art History and studied 20thC muralists. She has painted political murals in group collaborations and has an interest in protest art. Eleanor is proud of Auckland’s rich cultural heritage which is woven into her walking tours. She currently teaches in Secondary Art education.
