    Description

    Course fee

This course offers a course fee subsidy through funding from the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) for NZ citizen and permanent migrant adults, their partners on work visas or visitor visas, and refugees. To qualify, registrants should be over the age of 16 years and not currently enrolled in a secondary school. We need to collect extra information such as age, ethnicity, educational achievement and gender for statistical purposes. You must also provide evidence of NZ citizenship, residency or refugee status if requested. A condition of accepting a course fee subsidy is that you commit to at least 80% attendance of your course. The subsidised course fee is $25.

    About the course

Employers are busy people and the job market is challenging.

So make your skills and experience stand out with a CV and cover letter that are relevant, professional, chock-full of measurable achievements and easy-on-the-eye. Then back up your applications with an engaging LinkedIn profile that builds your network. Then wow your interviewers with examples that show you're the person for the job,

This workshop-based course will help you identify your career achievements and present them with the metrics (numbers) recruiters love. You’ll also receive templates to help you write your CV and cover letter, and practical tips to help you use LinkedIn, network and shine in your interviews.

    Learning objectives

At the end of the course you will be able to:
