Come along to be foot loose and fancy free! Jazz dance for beginner adults, no experience necessary.
Jazz dance encompasses many styles of music and we will cover a variety of genres after learning fundamental steps including jazz, lyrical and musical theatre. This is a class which will make learning and moving fun.
Expected learning outcomes
- Learning fundamental jazz steps to be able to amalgamate into dance routines.
- Co-ordination of mind and body.
- Mindfulness – being in the moment with dance and music.
What should you bring?
Preferably jazz or ballet shoes – sports shoes also fine for beginners.
This course is held off-site in Corinne's dance studio in Glen Innes.
Who should attend?
Adult beginners, any gender, any age. Must love music, must be enthusiastic, must have a sense of humour!
