    Description

    Course fee

This course offers a course fee subsidy through funding from the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) for NZ citizen and permanent migrant adults, their partners on work visas or visitor visas, and refugees. To qualify, registrants should be over the age of 16 years and not currently enrolled in a secondary school. We need to collect extra information such as age, ethnicity, educational achievement and gender for statistical purposes. A condition of accepting a course fee subsidy is that you commit to at least 80% attendance of your course.

    About the course

Stress and anxiety are all around us. Workplaces are stressful, child-rearing is stressful, relationships can be stressful, the cost of living is stressful , ever-elusive life-work balance can be the most stressful of all and add to that, the recent events with the global pandemic, restrictions, lockdowns and working from home.  This practical training empowers you with the mindset science that allows you to eliminate chronic stress, and not just manage or reduce it. The class is informative, eye-opening and very experiential. You’ll walk away with the knowledge and tools which you can apply in your life straight away in order to forever change your relationship with stress.

Like many, you probably have a belief that stress is harmful, and therefore try to avoid it all costs. Yet you still feel stressed, anxious and worried a lot (or a lot of the time).

You struggle to focus and concentrate, you can’t get your mind to stop and it's hard to think clearly. When you're chronically stressed, it's hard to make decisions and to get things done. Your productivity drops, your sleep is erratic and your energy levels are variable.

You’ve tried everything to *manage* your stress, and nothing has made a lasting difference. If you continue with the same mindset that stress needs managing, you’re unlikely to get different results.

This crash course on the New Science of Stress is ideal for busy professionals, just like you, who have a full and demanding life and who want to go beyond the “stress needs management” approach. That mindset is limiting, generic and ineffective. Discover the ground-breaking mindset science that will revolutionise how you deal with stress, anxiety and overwhelm.

    What to bring
