Hey teens - learn foundation cooking skills with Nichole.
Suitable for 13 - 16 year olds, this course will teach foundation cooking skills including safe handling and sharpening of knives, measurement, food handling and safety, meal planning and preparation, simple nutrition guidelines.
Students will learn through preparing recipes that practise these skills. Closer to the start of the course, Nichole will publish a menu for the two days.
The course fee includes all ingredients. Students should bring two teatowels and a container/s for taking home leftovers. Optional: bring an apron and bring your own knife. Please let us know ahead of time if you teen has any food allergies or medical conditions.
