    Home Sketching in the Central City

    Have you basic sketching skills but want to develop them? Spend a day with an expert sketching a range of interesting central city art works and buildings using pen and watercolours. The course fee includes all materials. Meeting instructions will be emailed upon registration.

    Description

    Join renowned artist Tony McNeight and he'll take you on an exploration of the Auckland CBD with your sketch pad. He will help you develop your sketching skills as you learn to capture the diversity of the inner city landscape, art and buildings.

    You will observe and sketch buildings and structures in a way not perceived before.

    Tony will guide you personally with on-the-street tutorials covering basic perspective showing quick impressions using pen and watercolour from sketch kits and A5 sketchbooks provided.

    This is a great way to 'really see' and sketch aspects of your city with a group of like-minded people. 

    What to bring

    Clothing appropriate for the day (hat, sunblock, rain jacket).  Water bottle. Something to eat.

    Who should attend?

    Those who have had some sketching experience and would like to be guided by a guided by a professional to develop their skills.
