    Description

Lorenzo spent lots of time with his Nonna in the kitchen. This inspired him to follow a vocation in food and he has worked as a chef at fine dining restaurants around the world for more than 16 years.

Lorenzo will teach you a series of main dishes, and antipasti. He will demonstrate the traditional way of preparing these Italian dishes, based on his grandma's recipes and methods, with sauces made from scratch, to produce fresh and flavourful meals. Your course includes an ingredients charge of $52 for ingredients supplied by Lorenzo.

    Menu

Week 1 : Mixed Antipasti (Fennel Salad, three types of bruschetta, Caprese Salad) - a mix of Classic Antipasti served In Italian restaurants.

Week 2 : Tagliatelle con Ragù Bolognese (fresh homemade Tagliatelle Pasta and Bolognaise Sauce) - you'll learn to make this dish from scratch, creating your own pasta dough and ragù like the traditional sauce made in Bologna.

Week 3 : Risotto Al Funghi e Gorgonzola - a mushroom risotto which is a great dish for vegetarian eaters. Lorenzo will also teach Risotto Funghi Salsiccia e Gorgonzola which is version containing sausage for meat-eaters.

Week 4 : Gnocchi alla Sorrentina and Pesto (fresh homemade gnocchi  with sorrentina Sauce, and fresh homemade Basil Pesto) - we'll prepare this dish from scratch making our gnocchi dough, and Lorenzo will teach you the traditional way of making Genovese Pesto.
