Description
This voice workshop is for anyone who wants to increase their vocal confidence and enjoy being able to fully express themselves using voice. Daneil teaches voice work as a practice that brings a deeper awareness to your body and how this can lead to a fuller connection to your voice. Join Daneil in this group voice session that will help you make connections between your body and your voice. You will be introduced to practices that invite you to open to the power of your unique voice, accessing a fuller range of vocal expressivity.
Who should attend?
The workshop is for anyone who wants to increase vocal confidence and expressivity. You will find this course especially valuable if you use your voice in a work context, ie: needing to command a room when delivering presentations, when teaching or public speaking.
Expected learning outcomes
- Learn how to use breath to support your voice
- Learn tools to ground your body before using your voice
- Learn to express different parts of your voice (low voice, high voice), to bring variation to your vocal expression
- Explore tools to support and strengthen your voice
What to bring
This workshop will include floor exercises so bring a yoga mat or similar to lie on. Bring a small blanket or another layer for warmth for floor exercises. Wear comfortable clothes that allow movement. Bring your water bottle.
