    Description

As a parent maintaining communication and connection with your children is key. However, it can take a lifetime to understand the uniqueness of the children you are parenting especially as they hit the teen years. In this presentation you will learn about what’s going on in the teenage brain, begin to understand  teenage emotions and gain an understanding of how you can support your teens wellbeing. Getting some insights into what makes teenagers tick will not only help you connect with your teenager when life gets tough, there will also be a few ‘aha’ moments for you too.

    Presenter: Sheridan Eketone

Sheridan is a Parenting Place family coach offering warm, engaging and relatable support to parents who feel like they’ve tried it all. As a mother of four, Sheridan combines her first-hand parenting insights with the latest evidence-based information to share practical strategies that will help parents build connection, manage big feelings, create a positive family atmosphere and, ultimately, raise resilient kids!
