This creative arts therapy workshop is a chance to explore your expressive voice in connection with your body and mind, using visual art-making to map your experience. The session will include yoga, the singing of open tone sounds (and other voice activities) and the creation of artwork in response to how you experience your own voice. All elements of the workshop are invitational.

This workshop is for anyone who wants to deepen their experience of themselves through vocal expression. Daneil facilitates voice work that allows participants to develop their awareness of how their body, mind and voice interconnect. This creative vocal process will invite you to explore these connections in a therapeutic framework.
Yoga mat or something to lie on, a small blanket, water. Comfortable clothes you can move in.
Daneil Cunningham is currently on clinical placement working towards a master’s in creative arts therapies at Whitecliffe. Creative arts therapies centre on creativity in the therapeutic encounter, utilising creative modalities within an established, nonjudgmental therapeutic relationship. Engaging in the creative arts therapies can benefit participants in a holistic sense, attending to emotional, cognitive, physical and spiritual well-being and aligns well with indigenous models of health and well-being.
