Read below for info. These courses usually fill with waiting lists each term - if you would like to book in the whole year, with payment closer to the course.
Tai Chi is meditation in motion. Come and learn a series of slow, continuous movements that will promote physical and mental well being, and improve your coordination and balance, through a focus on mindfulness.
The elementary level of Tai Chi teaches you to find your correct postural position. It includes movements that foster the flow of chi (energy) in your body. It is recommended that students practise at elementary level for a year or more before moving to the next level. However many students prefer to continue with this level for longer periods.
This course is suitable for those totally new to Tai Chi and those with some experience.
Please wear comfortable clothing that permits movement.
