From February 2019 course: "Hi there, I am Ian, I took the English IELTS Preparation Day with teacher Frances Battersby. When I first started to learn in the class I really struggled with listening, vocabulary and comprehension. But Frances is an experienced professional teacher who has multicultural background beyond knowledge itself. Meanwhile, I think the best language teachers are those who can speak another language themselves. Frances who can speak another language herself know how to explain things clearly and in a way that is easy to follow. She helped me achieve a great progress and I want to thank Frances Battersby for her outstanding teaching. I also congratulate you for having such high qualified special teachers in your college. Regards Ian"
"When I started studying IELTS, I had basic English skills. During my time in class, Frances helped me to work on my skills so that I was able to score a band score of 8.5 in my IELTS examination. Frances worked very hard to help me, and everyone in the class, to achieve the best result we could get through analysing our weaknesses and giving individual feedback. This helped me a lot to take my English skills to a new level. I want to thank Frances for her outstanding effort and wish her all the best for her future teaching." Marten Gillwall 30 June 2017
"My name is Manuel Alberto Alvarado and I am a 62-year-old student from Venezuela, who recently took classes with teacher Frances Battersby for the IELTS Academic test. I had the test on October 8, 2016 obtaining an overall band qualification of 8.
I am very happy with my score, and must say that it is the result of the excellent job done by Mrs. Battersby. She is the best English teacher I have known so far. She is very professional, open-minded, knows how to teach in a way that it is very easy and fun to learn, with a thorough knowledge of the English language and teaching method.
I congratulate you for having such high qualified teachers in your college and will recommend it to any person I know in need of learning English as a second language and has to take the IELTS test.
Best regards Manuel Alberto Alvarado" November 2016
