Peace of mind isn’t the absence stress or trouble in life. It is about knowing how to quickly return to a relaxed, peaceful state when troubles do arise. Mindful attention strengthens that ability, and increases our capacity for kindness, calm and joy in everyday life.
This course takes a fresh approach to meditation and mindfulness. You will gain a deeper understanding of how stress works in the body-mind, and why mindful attention helps. The classes involve pleasant, very gentle guided movements and simple breath awareness to experience deep relaxation and simple things to try at home.
This course is suitable for any level of experience. We offer a practical and safe, welcoming environment to learn in.
Bring a yoga mat / towel / blanket to lie on and a water bottle. Wear comfortable clothing that allows movement.
