Come and see the Auckland Domain through the seasons, through the camera lens. Look at the changing light, how colours change throughout the year and during the time of day. Open your eyes to what's around you and record this vision with your camera. If you wish to join the group (at a reduced fee) after the course has started, please contact the office.

This course runs over three sessions: Autumn - Sunday 18 April 10am - 12:30pm, Winter - Sunday 4 July 8am - 10:30am, Spring - Sunday 28 November 4.30pm - 7pm.
During each session we will observe the light, and all the elements around you, including the sky, the vegetation, and the people. As each session is held at a different time of the year, each day will have its own unique look and mood.
This course is for anyone who has basic skills at using their camera wanting to learn more about light, composition, and seeing the image whilst increasing their knowledge of photography.
All camera types welcome.
For the first session, we will meet at Selwyn College and carpool together to the Auckland Domain. We will agree on meeting places for future sessions.
Dress appropriately for the conditions and any possible weather changes.
Understanding of how to use your camera. If you are not yet confident using your camera, we have a range of beginners level photography courses available.
