Jill Malcolm
Jill Malcolm was editor of the Air New Zealand inflight magazine for eleven years and has now been the editor of five other magazines covering architecture, travel and lifestyle. She has also free-lanced for many New Zealand and overseas publications and written four travel books.
For the last 12 years she has been taking travel and creative writing workshops at the University of Auckland and around New Zealand. 
Her travel narrative At Home on the Road (New Holland Publishers, 2002: Republished 2004) won the inaugural Whitcoulls’ Travel Book of the Year Award. She was joint founder and a past president of the New Zealand Travel Writer’s Association and has travelled widely in New Zealand, Australia, South America, Africa, and China. An award winner herself, Jill has been judge for both the New Zealand and Australian Travel Writer of the Year Awards.
