Lekshe Chodron is a trained mindfulness teacher, qualified yoga teacher and Reiki Master Practitioner. She skilfully weaves her wide-ranging experience and passion for these various traditions into easy-to-understand wellness workshops and retreats, mindfulness courses, Reiki sessions and yoga for children and adults of all abilities and requirements. This includes staff and students (from the age of three) at early learning centres, in schools, colleges, tertiary institutions and adult learning centres. She also teaches to staff at a hospice, outpatients and patients very close to death in the hospital wing at the hospice. As well as working with community groups, she runs her own studio offering private sessions.
Lekshe supports clients and students in their wellness journey via a number of modalities including Hatha yoga, Yin yoga, children's yoga, breathing techniques, relaxation and mindfulness practices, shiatsu massage, reflexology, Reiki, yoga therapy and support with holistic lifestyle choices. She works with people of a large age range and varied physical and mental well-being including adults with grief, anxiety, depression, cancer, suicide and other life-threatening illnesses and children with ADHD.
Lekshe has worked in England, Canada and New Zealand and has regularly practiced, studied and attended retreats since 2000.
