Vana Manasiadis

    Home Vana Manasiadis
    Vana is a published poet, creative writing teacher, editor, and graduate of the International Institute of Modern Letters at Victoria University.  Her poetry collection Ithaca Island Bay Leaves was described as 'a treat', (New Zealand Herald), 'clever stuff', (Otago Daily Times), and 'masterful', (The Lumiere Reader); and her writing has been anthologised in 99 Ways into New Zealand Poetry and Essential New Zealand Poems.  In 2016, she edited and translated Shipwrecks/Shelters, a selection of Greek poetry and the first in a series of bilingual poetry collectionspublished by Seraph Press.   Vana regularly participates at poetry events, and she judged the 2016 Emerging Voices: Divine Muses Poetry Competition, on New Zealand Poetry Day, at the Gus Fisher Gallery.
