Maureen comes to us from Forgotten Arts Craft School in Clevedon.
In her “1st Life” she studied design at AUT before taking off overseas and embracing a multitude of career adventures.
Maureen relishes teaching the art of “MIM” (Made it myself) and encouraging that sense of pride and achievement that is generated.
A country girl at heart, Maureen has always enjoyed resourcefully using her hands. Problem solving, creating, making, repairing and promoting traditional skills. She rejoices in sharing the knowledge and skills of what are often almost Forgotten Arts.
Living on farms most of her life. Wool was always readily available. Learning to use it and add value was second nature to this entrepreneur.
