I am a Kintsugi artist and Qigong instructor. I am Japanese and have lived in Auckland for 30 year. At first it wasn't an easy life as a migrant. During this time I was seeking the purpose of life, meditating and reading many books about psychology. When I encountered Kintsugi art, I could face what had happened to me. As I practised this art, I began to accept and be proud of my own scars in my life. Kintsugi helped me to meditate more easily, become calmer and be strong enough to face new challenging circumstances, and to rebirth myself.
Having seen these benefits, I would like to share with others this art of repairing our hearts, as understanding, nurturing, and strengthening of mind and spirit. I believe Kintsugi will help you to be strong and create a beautiful quality of life.
