I am from the East coast. On my mother’s side, I hail from Te-Whanau-A-Apanui and Ngati Whatua. On my father's side, I hail from the tribes Ngai Tūhoe and Whakatohea.  I am Proud of my culture and who we are as the indigenous people of Aotearoa and cannot wait to share this with you all.

Feedback from 2022 student: "I have really enjoyed your classes, and learnt so much! ........I feel more both more confident and curious about my Māori heritage. And you have inspired me to learn more about my whakapapa. Your enthusiasm and kindness is infectious. Kia Ora, Ema."

I am currently studying for a Teacher’s degree in Te reo Maori at Te Wananga o Takiura.
