Andrew Ockleston
Andrew Ockleston is an artist, teacher, and tailor based in New Zealand. He has worked as a portraitist since completing his studies at animation college in 2015. Since 2019, he has taught art at Selwyn College, covering a range of drawing and painting subjects. His painting practice focuses on mixing traditional techniques with expressive brushwork, often using the alla prima method to work directly from life. Outside of teaching, Andrew makes and fits bespoke suits by hand, maintaining a practical link between his visual and craft-based skills.
