Description
This course is designed as a third level course to follow on from our two beginner level Italian courses.
Continue developing grammar knowledge, vocabulary and speaking confidence. This course will review present tense and will introduce the past tenses. Our teachers will set weekly homework assignments. We recommend you allow time in your schedule for daily practice sessions. See our blog on effective language learning to get ideas for improving your learning outcome.
Prerequisite level
You will already be able to confidently conjugate common verbs (regular and irregular) in the present tense. You will be able to have a basic conversation in the present tense, ask for and understand directions for travel, restaurants or shopping situations, describe yourself, your family and the place you live in Italian, tell the time and talk about your work. You will understand and be able to use reflexive verbs confidently, agree gender, and use present continuous tense.
