    Description

Ashtanga yoga is a dynamic system that gracefully synchronises breathing and movement. The Sanskrit word ashtanga translates as eight-limbs, referring to the eight-limbs of yoga as outlined by the great sage Patanjali in the Yoga Sutras.

Ashtanga Yoga for Beginner classes are fixed for those new to this practice. Each class starts with energising sun salutations, invigorating standing and seated postures, then cooling and meditation practices. The practice combines strength, flexibility, and stamina so you leave the class feeling energised yet with a relaxed mind.

Ashtanga Yoga for Beginners is recommended for those new to yoga, however, it is important to be aware of serious injuries and body limitations as this is a challenging class.

Bring a yoga mat, drink bottle and warm layers.
