Discover the art of micro macramé as you learn the skills to create your own beautifully wrapped crystal pendant. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll gain confidence in simple knotting techniques and learn how to securely bind raw crystals so they become unique, wearable pieces of jewellery.
With guidance at every step, you’ll explore different colour and design choices to craft a pendant that reflects your personal style. Enjoy a relaxed, creative atmosphere where you can unwind, connect with others, and experience the joy of making something meaningful with your hands.
You’ll leave the class with a finished crystal pendant—and the inspiration to continue creating your own macramé jewellery at home. All materials and tools are provided by Yoko, However people are more than welcome to bring their own crystals if they like.
I was born and raised in Japan, where I developed a deep appreciation for traditional culture and handmade crafts inspired by nature. Growing up surrounded by this rich heritage, I've always been passionate about arts and crafts.
Ten years ago, I discovered the art of macramé, one of the oldest crafts in the world. Inspired by this technique, I founded a workshop in Auckland focused on teaching children how to create beautiful macramé pieces. Over time, the workshop has expanded to include adults as well. My approach blends macramé techniques with the natural beauty of crystals, which I believe are gifts from Mother Nature herself.
