    Description

    About the course

Immerse yourself in a day of creativity and connection with nature in this one-day art workshop with Zoe Nash, celebrating plants and patterns. Perfect for anyone with a love of the natural world, this course encourages you to explore drawing, painting, and mixed media in fresh, playful ways. Starting with relaxed, observational exercises, you’ll be guided through a series of open-ended creative tasks designed to help you move beyond literal representation. Discover how to visually celebrate plants through expressive, intuitive, and imaginative approaches. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced artist looking to refresh your practice, this course offers a supportive, inspiring environment to experiment, take risks, and reconnect with your creativity. By the end of the day, you’ll have a small collection of unique, personal artworks on paper to take home and enjoy. (Your materials are included within the course fee).

    Learning outcomes

    • Have been taught a range of simple drawing exercises that help to develop both observation and hand/eye co-ordination skills.
    • Have explored some less traditional drawing methods that can help add expression to your work.
    • Been shown how to work with a combination of both wet and dry media on the same surface.
    • Created a small selection of nature-inspired, layered and expressive, mixed media works on paper to take away.

    Who should attend

Anyone with a love of nature.
