Ronnie Pankova-Karadjova
A bilingual writer, creative writing tutor, and music educator with over 30 years of experience, I hold a Master of Creative Writing from the University of Auckland. My flash fiction "Beyond Salt and Wings" recently won the Fractured and Fused Prize, run by Fractured Lit and judged by Sherrie Flick. I write in both English and Bulgarian, with published and award-recognized work spanning flash fiction, short stories, long prose, and poetry. My writing explores sensory experience, belonging, memory, and cross-cultural identity, drawing inspiration from my life across my native Bulgaria, Southern Africa, and now New Zealand.
