    Description
    Join June and learn some traditional Kiwi recipes in this welcoming, hands-on cooking class designed especially for those new to Aotearoa or those who have never learned the secrets of  some of our traditional recipes. 

    Together, you will prepare a selection of much-loved favourites—such as  savoury pies, pavlova, pikelets and Anzac biscuits. Along the way, you’ll learn some  simple cooking techniques and handy hints for these Kiwi favourites. 

    This relaxed and friendly class is a great way to meet others, practise your English, and feel more at home in Aotearoa. No prior cooking experience is needed—just bring your curiosity and appetite and containers to take home your creations to share with family and friends.

    What you can expect?

    • Neenish tarts
    • Pavlova and meringues
    • Bacon and Egg Pie/Vegetable Pie
    • Smoked Fish savouries
    • Mince pies and quiche tarts
    • Pikelets
    • Cheese Scones
    • Anzac biscuits

    The format

    • Four nights, 7pm - 9pm

    What to bring

    Just yourself and your water bottle. Bring an apron if you'd like.
