Description
Level 4 continuation is designed for learners who want to continue building their confidence in te reo, with a stronger focus on using te reo Māori in conversation and everyday situations.
Classes will build on familiar sentence structures and grammar while introducing more opportunities to kōrero, listen, read and respond in te reo Māori. We will explore current events, short stories, waiata and other real-world content, with activities such as picture descriptions, role-play, translation, quizzes and language games.
There will also be a strong focus on understanding how sentences fit together, strengthening negative structures and conjunctions, and developing vocabulary that can be used naturally in everyday life.
Most importantly, the class will provide plenty of opportunities to speak, interact, have fun and continue growing confidence in te reo Māori together.
