Description
Discover the joy of knitting in a friendly, supportive environment, for those new to knitting.
You will learn:
- The basic knitting stitches of plain and pearl;
- How to cast on and off;
- An understanding of different knitting yarns;
- How to follow an easy pattern.
You will make either a scarf or knit squares that can be joined together to make either a cushion cover or a blanket. There is a maximum of eight students on this course so there is time for plenty of one-to-one help from your tutor, June.
What to bring
You will need to bring a pair of 6mm knitting needles and two balls of chunky knitting wool.
