    Who should attend this course?

Those with digital cameras who have an interest and passion for photography, nature and flowers but lack the camera skills, ideas and inspiration to take photos they could be proud of. You should already know how to basically use your camera  ie turning it on, zooming. We have a DSLR Beginners Photography class available if you are unable to use your camera yet.

    What to bring

Bring some flowers / foliage for the first session - keep it simple - something from the garden is fine. You may wish to bring a jar or vase if that seems appropriate for your flowers. Bring your own digital camera. Cameras should have adjustable functions such as aperture mode (A or AV). Standard kit lenses are fine. If you have a macro lens, bring this. Ensure your camera battery is charged and that you have space available on your SD card.

    Flower Closeup

    Prerequisites

Digital cameras with some adjustable functions eg aperture value. Please contact the office if you're unsure. You should already have a basic understanding of how to use your camera  eg how to turn it on, zoom, view / delete images.
