This course will cover the tools writers use to write fiction, in either long or short form. We will begin by developing a character to be central to a piece of fiction. From there we will go on to workshop story, tone and setting. We will also examine the use of point of view, structure and voice. By the end of the weekend participants should be well on the way to possessing the necessary tools to write a compelling short story or novel.
You are invited to attend our opening address at 9am on Saturday 26 August 2023. Carole Beu from The Women's Bookshop will fire up the day with an early morning talk on her raves and faves. Have a cuppa, listen to Carole and meet others. Please register here so we know how many to expect.
