Come and learn from pastry chef Jayshree. She'll show you the secrets to perfect pies and pastry goods. During this course you will not only learn to make two types of pastry, you'll also make your own mince and cheese pies, filo pastry bacon and egg pies, and perfect sausage rolls.
Perfect pastry can be challenging, but not if you know the secrets! Chef Jayshree will help you perfect your pastry with the tips and tricks the experts use. Whilst making your pies, you'll learn how to make flaky and short crust pastry, and go home with a selection of pies.
Tea towel, container for transporting goodies home. An apron if you wish. Something for lunch. The cost of all food ingredients is included within your course fee.
Jayshree is a baking lecturer at MIT and has been working as a baker for 12 years. Prior to this she was a primary school teacher before embarking on a 12 year career in baking and cake decorating.
