Come and learn how to capture the secrets of the tiny world around you, in stunning images from abstracts to detailed shots. You'll have lots of hands-on photography throughout the day to perfect your skills and learn about cameras, lenses and accessories.
If you have always been interested in ultra close-up photos like water droplets, flowers, tiny objects and wondered how photographers took those photos, then this would be the class for you.
Learn to take amazing macro – ultra close-up photos of most still objects - nature to still life.
This course will teach you how to take ultra-close photos with accessories from lenses to affordable and some incredibly cheap attachments.
Bring your own camera and standard kit lens – e.g. 18-55mm/17-50mm/24-105mm or 50mm. Bring your own macro lens/close-up filters and tripod if you have them.
Don’t worry if you don’t have a macro lens or any accessories – there will be various attachments to use in class.
You can bring your own objects – e.g. flowers to photograph – there will be numerous objects to use in class e.g. miniature replica butterflies, flowers, leaves and some of my favourite fun ‘toys’. We will also look for some leaves and loose objects in the school grounds to photograph.
This course is suitable for those who understand exposures and use aperture and shutter modes on their camera.
Camera equipment - digital cameras (mirrorless or DSLR) with interchangeable lenses. Lenses will be detached from camera and attached to macro accessories (supplied).
