- DIY Safety First: Learn the importance of safety while working on DIY projects. We’ll cover essential safety equipment, proper tool handling, and how to create a safe working environment in your home.
- Using the Right Tools for the Job: Understand which tools are best suited for various tasks, ensuring both efficiency and safety. We’ll walk you through the essentials, including the tools needed for plastering, painting, repairs, and maintenance.
- Plastering & Painting: Watch a demonstration on how to patch up walls with plaster, ensuring a smooth finish. Plus, get tips on painting techniques to achieve a professional look.
- Gib Repairs: Learn how to repair damaged gib board, including proper methods for filling cracks and holes.
By the end of this course, you'll be equipped with the knowledge and techniques to carry out these common repairs around your home. Whether you’re a DIY beginner or looking to sharpen your skills, this course is the perfect way to get started with home maintenance projects safely and effectively.
Note: This course is a demonstration-only session. Participants will have the opportunity to observe and ask questions but will not be required to complete hands-on tasks during the class.
