    Description

    Marhaba! Would you like to learn how to speak Arabic? This course is designed for beginners who want to learn how to speak Arabic to be able to communicate with Arabic speakers or even for those who just have a general interest in the deep and beautiful Arabic language.

    Course outline

    • The Arabic alphabet with different pronunciation as (each letter has three different pronunciations)
    • Greeting words, practising greetings and introductions
    • Basic Arabic words and sentences
    • Different uses of words for different genders
    • Asking questions and answering
    • Basic and daily used activities
    • Starting a small conversation about self and family
    • Descriptive words for personality and appearance

    Expected learning outcomes

    • Be able to pronounce the Arabic alphabet with precision and clarity
    • Acquire the skills to warmly greet others and introduce yourself in Arabic, showcasing cultural nuances and politeness
    • Develop the ability to engage in simple conversations, asking and answering questions related to personal information, daily activities, and interests
    • Describe yourself and other people in both personality and appearance, in simple terms

    Who should attend?

    Anyone who wants to start learning how to speak Arabic for the purpose of communication with native Arabic speakers. or for those with plan to visit an Arabic-speaking country.

    About your tutor, Ahilla

    I am Ahilla Fares, born in Syria, and currently residing in New Zealand for nearly two years. Previously, I lived in Lebanon for over 11 years, where I had the privilege of teaching Arabic to foreigners. Being a native Arabic speaker, I am passionate about sharing my language and breaking down language barriers. Teaching has been a rewarding experience, and I am eager to continue fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for Arabic among learners.
