    Description

Want to learn how to keep a visual diary? The possibilities are endless with Visual Journaling – as varied as your days and as boundless as your art! We’ll learn about supplies – what mediums and sketchbooks work for you, then move on to filling your pages without fear. We’ll give you ideas for six types of pages, working with you to discover your own style, so that you can go out and immediately start your unique Visual Journaling practice.

    • Learn how to plan and complete six types of visual journaling pages, as well as how to spontaneously fill a page.
    • Discover the power of learning and sharing with others as the group’s multiple styles come to light.
    • Become motivated, equipped, and excited to spend the next few days (or the rest of your life) journaling your life in a sketchbook.

    Who should attend?

If you’ve ever doodled a stick figure, come along! And if you’ve been sketch-booking for a while, you’ll learn from others, but also gain some new skills to incorporate into your daily practice.

    What to bring

    • We'll provide a sketchbook plus pens and watercolours to use on the day (a materials charge of $25 is included within your course fee)
    • You bring any pencils, pens, collage fodder, or felts you particularly like (again, we’ll have options for you as well to practise on the day).
    • Your lunch, for the weekend workshop
